The High Court decision has sparked quite a debate about Google’s liability in the UK for any privacy breaches.  We hope it will now take heed of the potential consequence of its actions and will decide to do the right thing by respecting our rights to privacy.    This is what we’ve called for all along.  It’ll be interesting to observe how Google reacts to this decision.  It was not granted leave to appeal.  But will it accept the jurisdiction and deal with this action now or try to find some other legal wheeze to ignore British consumers?

Our message to Google is simple: it’s never too late to respect your consumers.  Do the right thing.
